James Hardie Plank is leaving Europe - but don't worry, we've got you covered
James Hardie has confirmed it's selling its European fibre cement business to Holcim, and the plan is to close its European operations down for good. The deal's expected to complete in the first half of 2027, but availability and lead times tend to get shakier well before a final closure date, so it's worth having a plan in place now rather than waiting until it becomes a problem.
